On Mothers' Day, in addition to honoring our own moms, let's keep in our hearts and share the grief and anger of those mothers - Iraqi, American and others - whose children have been maimed and killed in this brutal, illegal and immoral war. Let's remember the worry and sorrow of the mothers whose children have been wrongly deported, or locked up indefinitely, or have disappeared under the guise of fighting terrorism. Let's mourn with the mothers of the thousands of civilians in Afghanistan who have been bombed out of existence. Let's mark this holiday by pledging to do whatever it takes to prevent any more mothers from shedding tears because their children's lives have been wasted for power and material wealth.
